Nguyen Tung Quan
PR & Communications Specialist/Designer

Quan is a PR & Coms Officer and is responsible for managing the Progamme’s design and other visual related projects. Before becoming a member of GIZ, he had been working as a graphic designer for 5 years – Which provided him with ample experiences and knowledge in this particular field of visual communication.

Quan spent his university years in the United States, not only for studying but also taking the chance to travel extensively.

After graduating in 2016, feeling somewhat satiated with what he had learnt and seen, Quan decided to return to Vietnam to deepen his personal & professional experience within his home country.

Quan is a PR & Coms Officer and is responsible for managing the Progamme’s design and other visual related projects. Junior Knowledge Management Specialist

Thu Hà is a Junior Knowledge Management Specialist at GIZ ESP. With over 10 years of experience in language services and project support, she is responsible for all translation, interpretation, and knowledge management tasks under GIZ ESP.

Before joining GIZ ESP, she gained experience as a full-time language assistant and administrative assistant for the EU project “Capacity Building Support to the State Audit Office of Viet Nam” (EU-PFMO) and the UNDP and IrishAid-funded “Poverty Reduction Policies and Programs” project at the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Hanoi.

Thu Hà holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language Teaching and Education from the Viet Nam National University, Hanoi.

Thu Hà is a Junior Knowledge Management Specialist at GIZ ESP. With over 10 years of experience in language services and project support, she is responsible for all translation, interpretation, and knowledge management tasks under GIZ ESP.

Mai Thi Xuyen
Junior Knowledge Management Specialist

Xuyen is a Junior Knowledge Management Specialist at GIZ ESP. Previously, she worked as a Translator and Interpreter for ODA projects, focusing on environmental improvement, construction, and drainage and sewerage sectors.

Passionate about contributing to Viet Nam’s sustainable development, Xuyen brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role.

Xuyen holds a BA in English for Science and Technology from Hanoi University of Science and Technology.

Nguyen Chau Giang
Executive Assistant

Chau Giang is the Executive Assistant for the GIZ ESP. She previously worked as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant/Corporate Communications at B. Braun Viet Nam and as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Colas Rail Viet Nam.

Chau Giang has over 19 years of experience in general administration, office management, and corporate communications, executing various administrative tasks and providing secretarial assistance to the management team. She graduated from Hanoi University of Foreign Studies with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Latrobe University, Australia.

Chau Giang is the Executive Assistant for the GIZ ESP. She previously worked as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant/Corporate Communications at B. Braun Viet Nam and as Personal Assistant to the Managing Director at Colas Rail Viet Nam.

Pham Thi Ngoc Mai
Project Officer for Energy Transition Portfolio Management and Impact Monitoring

Pham Thi Ngoc Mai is a Project Officer for Energy Transition Portfolio Management and Impact Monitoring within the Energy Cluster at GIZ. Before joining GIZ, Ngoc Mai served in various Program Officer roles, where she contributed to the design, implementation, and management of development projects in education, health, and social inclusion—particularly those aimed at supporting marginalized communities.
Ngoc Mai earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National Economics University in 2018 and her Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Melbourne in 2023.

Pham Thi Ngoc Mai is a Project Officer for Energy Transition Portfolio Management and Impact Monitoring within the Energy Cluster at GIZ. Before joining GIZ, Ngoc Mai served in various Program Officer roles, where she contributed to the design, implementation, and management of development projects in education, health, and social inclusion—particularly those aimed at supporting marginalized communities.

Vu Ha Lan

Ha Lan gained Bachelor’s degree of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Chemical Engineering before capturing a Master’s degree in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Southampton. She has had work experience in sustainable material research and green building certification during her working time in Institute of Chemistry – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, private sector and latest Vietnam Green Building Council (VGBC). 

Ha Lan gained Bachelor’s degree of Hanoi University of Science and Technology in Chemical Engineering before capturing a Master’s degree in Energy and Sustainability from the University of Southampton.
