Hanoi, December 17, 2025 – In late November, factories in Hanoi and Quang Ninh tested Automatic Direct Load Control (ADLC) to improve how they manage electricity during high-demand periods.
What did we learn?
- Flexible Load Control: ADLC adjusts power loads based on grid conditions, ensuring stability even during peak times!
- Backup Power Activated: The system can kick in backup sources like diesel generators or Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to keep things running smoothly.
- Higher flexibility in future: as inverter technology becomes more common, ADLC helps with load-shedding without need for turning off equipment completely.

Why it matters:
In the future, ADLC will help factories reduce energy use without shutting down non-essential equipment. During power shortages, it can even prioritize critical loads, ensuring essential services stay powered while saving energy. It is a big step toward smarter, more sustainable industrial energy use.
